About Homebase Roleplay
Homebase Roleplay (Homebase RP) is a serious, economy-based GTA V roleplay server on FiveM, built by a solo developer alongside the people who play it.
What is Homebase Roleplay?
Homebase Roleplay, also called Homebase RP, is a serious, economy-based GTA V roleplay server that runs on FiveM. It is a passion project made by a solo developer who has played FiveM since 2018.
Many FiveM roleplay servers repeat the same formula: endless paperwork for basic interactions, weeks of grinding to afford a decent car, interfaces that get in the way of roleplay, and piles of pre-made scripts that make a server feel like a collection of systems instead of a game. Homebase was created as a reaction to that. The idea is simple: FiveM should be a game, so leave the paperwork at your job.

What you can do on Homebase
- Police roleplay: fast-paced police gameplay where officers are out responding to calls, not filling in forms.
- Criminal roleplay: pull off robberies, deal various drugs, steal catalytic converters and plan your next move.
- Civilian roleplay: create your own stories and make a living in an economy that keeps evolving.
- Selling drugs and hiring dealers: sell to locals on the street, and some will offer to deal for you. A burner phone lets you schedule meetings, supply your dealers and collect the cash.
- Dynamic sitting: sit on any ledge, car or box, anywhere.
- Camera and drone: take in-game photos with effects, settings and depth of field.
- Questing system: fully overhauled, with plenty of quests available and more on the way.
- Custom clothing: two big packs of add-on clothing, from suits to streetwear.
- Custom vehicles: more than 100 custom cars and custom liveries, including the police fleet.
- Store and house robberies: a custom two-stage store robbery script, house robberies and smash-n-grab for parked cars.
- Meth production: produce meth as part of the drug system.
- NPC roadside mechanic: when your car breaks down, an NPC mechanic fixes it.
- Lap timer: time laps at the racing circuit, with best times logged publicly in the Discord.
Design principles
- Less paperwork, more interaction. Jobs and the economy give you things to do without consuming your whole experience, so players interact with each other instead of navigating menus.
- Minimal UI. The interface is kept out of the way of roleplay.
- No pay-to-win. Nothing on Homebase can be bought for an advantage.
- Custom-built systems. Core systems are built specifically for Homebase, with its own lore and direction.
Built with the community
Homebase is built alongside the people who will actually play it. Police RP, criminal gameplay, the economy, quality-of-life features, or something you have always hated about FiveM servers: all feedback is welcome, and community feedback already influences development. Share your ideas in the Discord.
Staff tools and infrastructure
The backend, logging and staff tools behind Homebase are built in-house. Moderators can investigate reports, view logs and resolve issues through a custom staff system, including directly from their phone, so staff spend their time helping players instead of fighting their tools.
