Police roleplay tips
General advice for playing a cop in GTA and FiveM roleplay.

These tips are general. Read the rules of the server you play on, including Homebase in our Discord.
Communicate before you escalate
A scene works best when everyone understands what is going on. Give clear instructions and a chance to comply before using force.
Give suspects room to roleplay
A good arrest is a story for both sides. Avoid skipping straight to the end of a scene.
Stay professional
Your character is a public servant. Calm, consistent behaviour makes the whole department more believable.
Work with your team
Respond to calls together and share information in character through radio and reports, not through outside chat.
On Homebase the aim is fast-paced police gameplay without piles of paperwork. See police roleplay on Homebase.
