This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit homebaserp.com, the website of Homebase Roleplay. It is written in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Homebase Roleplay is a GTA V roleplay server on FiveM operated by its developer. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Homebase Roleplay. You can contact us through our Discord server.
What this website collects
- The website has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms, so we do not ask you for personal information.
- The website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
- Like every website, our hosting provider and servers may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of request in standard server logs. This is used to keep the site secure and working.
Live server status
The home page shows whether the game server is online and how many players are connected. To do this, your browser requests this information from our status service at status.homebaserp.com. The response contains only the online state and the player count. Your browser sends its IP address with that request, as with any web request.
Live streams page
The Live page lists Twitch streams whose title mentions Homebase. Your browser requests that list from our status service, and then loads each stream thumbnail directly from Twitch's image servers (static-cdn.jtvnw.net), so Twitch can see your IP address and browser details for those images. If you click a stream you leave our website and Twitch's own privacy policy applies.
Cookies and local storage
The website does not set cookies and does not store information on your device.
Links to other services
The website links to services we do not control, including Discord and FiveM (fivem.net). When you follow those links, their own privacy policies apply. We recommend reading them.
Playing on the game server
Playing on the Homebase Roleplay game server is separate from browsing this website. Joining may involve your Discord account identifier, which is used to check access, and gameplay activity that is logged for moderation, security and support. Rules and details for the game server are shared in our Discord.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region with data protection laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to its use. To make a request, contact us on Discord. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Discord requires users to meet its minimum age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website changes, for example if we add analytics. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
