Server rules
These rules apply to everyone on Homebase Roleplay. Read them before you play, and ask in the Discord if anything is unclear.
Last updated:
RDM (Random Deathmatch)
Killing or attacking another player without a valid roleplay reason is prohibited.
VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch)
Using a vehicle to intentionally run over or kill players without a valid roleplay reason is prohibited.
Metagaming (MG)
Using out-of-character information to gain an in-character advantage is prohibited.
Powergaming (PG)
Forcing roleplay outcomes on other players or exploiting unrealistic game mechanics to gain an advantage is prohibited.
Fail RP
Unrealistic actions that break or seriously disrupt an active roleplay scenario are prohibited.
Value of Life
Players must value their character's life and respond realistically to serious threats.
Combat Logging
Disconnecting or leaving the server to avoid an ongoing roleplay situation, arrest, or its consequences is prohibited.
Exploiting and Cheating
Using cheats, unauthorized third-party tools, bugs, or exploits to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
New Life Rule
Returning to an ongoing scenario after respawning to continue the same conflict or seeking revenge for a previous death is prohibited.
Roleplay Before Gunplay
Violence must have a valid roleplay reason. Do not escalate situations to gunfights without meaningful roleplay.
Third-Partying
Do not interfere in ongoing robberies, fights, or police situations if you were not already involved in the scenario.
Looting
Only loot players who were directly involved in your roleplay scenario. Items taken must be relevant to the situation.
Criminal Hotspot Camping
Do not camp illegal activity locations solely to rob or target players who visit them to complete gameplay activities.
Rule Breaks and Reporting
If another player breaks a rule, do not break character, retaliate, or disrupt the scenario in response. Continue the roleplay where possible and report the incident using the F2 report menu after the scenario has concluded. For urgent situations requiring immediate staff intervention, use the appropriate reporting method.
Questions about the rules
